The Bull Market is a low-end tag auction market in Yorknew City where a bidder has to write the amounts they are willing to pay on the tags attached to the auction items. Whoever writes down the highest bid within the time limit wins, but vendors will often sell before the time is up if they can reach an agreement with the buyers on the price.[1]

- In the manga, small plush dolls of Yoshihiro Togashi (self represented as a dog with glasses), his wife Naoko Takeuchi (represented as a bunny), and Hiei from YuYu Hakusho can be found on a stall in the Bull Market.[1] In the 2011 anime series adaptation only a Naoko's bunny doll appears.[2] The 1999 anime version shows none of the mentioned Easter eggs.
- The Bull Market acts like a silent auction, with some characteristics of a garage sale and a flea market bazaar.
- In the financial area, "bull market" is an expression to indicate the primary market trend of a period of generally rising prices.
