|Arc||Greed Island arc|
Back at their base, Phinks and Feitan figure out how to enter the game. Feitan enters the game first while Franklin, Machi, Shizuku, and Shalnark of the Troupe approach Phinks and he tells them about the game Greed Island and suddenly disappears into the game. Meanwhile while Gon trains and he's still mad about Tsezguerra, when suddenly Kurapika approaches him and the two have a conversation. After Kurapika tells Gon about his condition Gon asks him on what training he have done to have acquired his abilities.
Kurapika tells every detail of his training, and Gon decides that Kurapika will be his trainer, but he rejects the idea since his boss already left the town, so he needs to follow them. Kurapika also adds that he haven't settled things with the Troupe, but his first priority is his clans Scarlet Eyes and before he leaves he asks Gon to get advice from his trainer who taught him to use Nen. Later Gon calls Wing to get an advice and Wing answers that Enhancers don't have any special techniques since they're the most balanced type in terms of attack and defense and by increasing their Ren and Ten he'll get an overpowering force and calls that one a decisive technique. Wing also tells him whatever the current situation he has, he can't imitate the methods of Kurapika.
Wing encourage Gon to practice his Ren and Ten everyday and continues to encourage him by saying that he already is able to produce a particular force. To the delight of Gon he asks Wing to give him a clue and Wing answers that since he only showed him half of his Ren, the next time he needs to show him all of the power he learned from the master to use them all at once. After the conversation Gon trains his Ten, Zetsu, Ren and Hatsu he suddenly stops and starts thinking.
Killua on the other hand keeps progressing and thinks of Gon and urges him to keep on going and not to think too much or he will be far way behind of him. Gon looks tired on just thinking and try's to figure out the thing Wing said to him. Gon thinks of the past when he starts training to learn nen and suddenly he thought of Gyo. Gon then uses Gyo and, realizes that he wasn't much paying attention on what was happening on the rest of his body and learns that his aura escapes and by then, he is convinced that he can do everything at once.
