Applause (喝採, Kassai) is the 332nd chapter of the Hunter × Hunter series, written and illustrated by Yoshihiro Togashi.
Synopsis
Mizaistom sacrifices himself and asks his fellow Hunters to vote for Cheadle. When she went in front, Cheadle only wanted the other Hunters to vote for Leorio which surprised most of them. Cheadle thinks to herself that she will not let Pariston get his way. Meanwhile, Leorio is too preoccupied with thinking about his speech and did not notice Pyon calling him. Leorio starts his speech by declaring that if he wins, he will use the association for his personal needs. His first order would be for everyone to help cure Gon immediately. Leorio states that while he was doing studying or drinking, Gon was risking his life fighting with the ex-chairman Netero.
Finally, Alluka wakes and finds herself inside Gon's room. Killua explains Gon's situation but Alluka disapproves, as she doesn't want to turn into Nanika again and leave Killua. He assures Alluka that they will always be together, just as he promised. From someplace else, Illumi thinks about Killua being an exception to Nanika's rule the situation and defines Alluka's ability as an unbelievably strong tool if tamed. Tsubone contemplates on Illumi's motives and how Killua suffered less when he was being manipulated. Killua thinks about Alluka and Nanika. He wants to make this the last wish so Nanika will never wake up again.
Back to Leorio, he begs the Hunters that if anyone knows how to save Gon, tell him. With this, Cheadle figures out that the reason that Ging did not dodge Leorio's attack before was because he saw potential for Leorio to become a good chairman as long as he is given their support, which led her the decision to hand her votes over to Leorio. The audience applauded for a very good speech, which surprised Leorio. Pariston then makes his way to the podium, but Cheadle is certain that Pariston will not win no matter what he says. Killua asks Nanika to turn Gon back to normal, to which Nanika agrees.
