When Neon Nostrade finished her predictions, she explained that there will be four or five paragraphs with four lines in each which correspond with a week, then a month as a whole. When Chrollo reads his prediction, he begins to cry. Amazed by how accurate it is, he asks her to look at it, to which she declines. Since there are multiple sentences referring to the dead, Chrollo asks Neon if she believes in life after death. She answers no. Neon tells Chrollo to look for happiness from himself rather than spirits. Neon then quotes a clairvoyant whom she always admired known as Grandma Galaxy: "Predictions exist to help living beings achieve happiness". Chrollo says that he believes in souls and says he's going to do what he thinks their fallen comrade (Uvogin) would have wanted to do. Swiftly and unnoticed, Chrollo knocks Neon unconscious, making it seem as if she fainted due to an illness of sorts. Chrollo tells a few body guards to call a doctor but they say they'll do it themselves. "Angry", Chrollo reminds them who this young girl is.
In the video observation room, Assassin A notices what Chrollo did in a replay of the video and says he found his prey. Light Nostrade and Kurapika arrive to see Neon. Light wonders how she was able to get in the auction as he banned her. After a short investigation, Kurapika finds out Neon's photos are all over the hunter website. Kurapika thinks she either had someone sneak her in or she was held hostage and forced to go. Either way, it isn't safe for her. Kurapika tells Light Nostrade to leave but he says he has to stay for the auction. Kurapika tells him that that place will soon be a battlefield and the auction will be cancelled again. Assassin A is seen following trace amounts of blood with smell, commenting on the high caliber of his target, when he walks upon a dead Assassin F. He attacks the body with a knife to see if there are any traps, only to find Chrollo hiding behind it. After saying they are both addicted to murder, Chrollo pulls a pen from the dead assassin's head, saying it'll be one on one. Outside, the rest of the Phantom Troupe are "cleaning up" and are prepared to do as ordered, that is, to "act without restraint". Nobunaga is then seen back at the hideout laughing at Gon and Killua.
