Summary[]

Hisoka magic trick

Hisoka beginning his magic trick

After severing Hisoka's right arm, Kastro states that his double isn't just an illusion and warns Hisoka that he has to face two of him. He then reveals that he has completed his Tiger Bite Fist ability through the mastery of Nen, calling it True Tiger Bite Fist. Hisoka calmly spins his own severed arm on his finger and smiles at Kastro, revealing a handkerchief and using it to cover the severed arm. He prepares to show off his powers of clairvoyance and tosses the covered arm into the air, but several playing cards are the only things under the handkerchief, with the severed arm nowhere to be found. As the cards fall to the floor, Hisoka asks Kastro to pick one of the numbers, add four, multiply it by two, subtract six, divide it by two, and then subtract the original number.

Hisoka ace of spades

Hisoka revealing the ace of spades

With the crowd left confused, Hisoka confidently claims that he already knows Kastro's answer, suddenly reaching into the wound on his right arm and drawing the ace of spades. The announcer and audience are left in disbelief by the act, with Killua wondering how Hisoka can be so calm. Hisoka tosses the card toward Kastro, who quickly knocks it away from himself as the other remains in its stance. After Kastro vows to sever Hisoka's left arm as well, Hisoka voluntarily holds it out and offers to let him take it. One of the Kastros charges forward and immediately severs the arm, but the double quickly disappears afterwards. Hisoka tells Kastro that he expected him to attack with his double and adds that he would have countered if he himself had attacked, suddenly revealing that his right arm has been completely reattached.

With everyone left stunned, Hisoka explains that it's another magic trick and asks Kastro if he can discover the secret. Kastro nervously tells himself that Hisoka must be lying and guesses that he's using Nen to achieve the feat, wondering what type it is. Hisoka walks toward Kastro and asks if he's afraid, pointing out that he doesn't understand the trick because it's magic. He then praises Kastro's ability to make a double and reveals that he understands how it works, confident that he can now predict how he will use it to attack. He continues to walk forward and reveals that he only spared Kastro's life before because of his potential, gleefully predicting that he will now die in a frenzied dance.

HxH2011 EP32 Kastro death

Kastro killed by Hisoka's playing cards

Kastro angrily tells him to be quiet and leaps toward him with his double, but Hisoka instantly looks toward the real Kastro, causing him to freeze with fear and wonder how he knew. As Hisoka easily dodges the double's attacks, he explains to Kastro that he can't recreate every effect of a battle on his double. After Kastro looks down and sees the blood on his clothes, he charges toward Hisoka, whose severed left arm suddenly flies toward Kastro and strikes him in the face. With Kastro left dazed by the punch to his chin, Hisoka explains that he won't be able to dodge his next attack, and several playing cards suddenly fly toward Kastro, who desperately wonders where they came from. Although Kastro tries to create a double, Hisoka tells him that it takes intense focus to create a Nen double, and the playing cards pierce Kastro's body. Hisoka continues to explain Kastro's deadly mistake as his body falls to the floor. It's announced that Hisoka has won by knockout, and back in his room, Gon sits alone and gets a sudden feeling about Hisoka as he says his name aloud.

HxH2011 EP32 Machi Nen Stitches

Machi reattaching one of Hisoka's severed arms

Leaving the arena, Hisoka finds a woman waiting for him in the exit tunnel. She praises his victory and tells him to show her the injury, with the two making their way to Hisoka's room. Holding Hisoka's severed arms, the woman tells him that the match confirmed that he's an idiot, wondering why he would put himself in so much danger and asking if it was a performance. Hisoka gives a vague response, and the woman points out that she can't complain since she's getting paid, using threads made of Nen to first stop the bleeding. Hisoka asks her to be gentle, and the woman tells him to put away his aura, starting with his left arm and using her Nen Stitches to reattach it. Hisoka praises her skill as she fixes his right arm next, playfully saying that he should get injured more so that he can watch her work.

The woman ignores the comment and asks for her payment: Jenny Symbol 201120 million for his left arm, and Jenny Symbol 201150 million for his right. Hisoka assures her that he will send the money to her account, and she prepares to leave, telling him that he can treat the rest of his injuries with his Bungee Gum and Texture Surprise. Hisoka first uses the former ability to attach the handkerchief to his right arm and then the latter to create a layer of skin over it. The woman is left impressed by Hisoka's speed and says to herself that it would have fooled a Nen master into thinking that his arm had actually healed. As Hisoka does the same on his left arm, the woman explains that Hisoka's Bungee Gum allows him to mold his aura into a substance similar to rubber and gum, allowing it to stretch, contract, and stick to many types of surfaces.

Machi analysis

Hisoka’s fight analyzed by Machi

Hisoka then tells her that he named the ability after his favorite chewing gum when he was younger. Although left uninterested by the detail, the woman says to herself that Hisoka's Texture Surprise allows him to reproduce the appearance of skin, describing it as a high-quality copy. Hisoka reveals that the ability's name comes from the stickers that were included with a once popular snack. With the woman again left uninterested, Hisoka asks her if she was impressed by his application of the two abilities during the fight against Kastro. The woman begins to analyze the fight and explains that when the playing cards went flying into the air, he used Bungee Gum to attach his severed arm to the ceiling and the handkerchief to the floor. She adds that he also had aura connected to all thirteen cards on the floor, holding the ends with his left hand. She deduces that when he threw the ace of spades at Kastro, he released the aura from his left hand and stuck the strands all over Kastro's body.

Hisoka points out that Kastro never noticed, and the woman says that he used Zetsu to help conceal his aura. She adds that someone trained in Ren could have focused the Nen in their eyes to see through his plan, guessing that Hisoka used the shocking magic trick to throw Kastro off his guard and believe that Hisoka's lack of aura was a sign of confidence. She then points out that when Hisoka held out his left arm, he attached another strand to Kastro's chin, and quickly reattached his right arm when Kastro took his left. Both point out that the act made Kastro realize that Hisoka was using Nen rather than magic. The woman then notes that Hisoka took advantage of Kastro's psychological state and exposed the weakness of his double ability. Hisoka replies that Kastro would have had a chance if he had stayed calm, but the woman points out that he was overwhelmed by the mental strain and lost as a result.

Machi orders

Machi telling Hisoka about the new orders from the Troupe

The woman asks Hisoka if he realizes how perfect the two abilities are for him, and Hisoka proudly says that unlike Kastro, someone knowing about his abilities is irrelevant since the two are so adaptable. The woman picks up her bag and prepares to leave, telling Hisoka not to strain himself until his arms are firmly attached. She then remembers the reason why she came and tells him that all Phantom Troupe members have to be in Yorknew City by noon on August 30th. Hisoka asks if the boss will be there as well, and the woman replies that it's very likely since it could be their biggest job yet, warning him that the boss may hunt him down personally if he skips it. Hisoka then asks the woman to join him for dinner, but she leaves before he can even finish the question.

HxH2011 EP32 Hisoka removes his fake tattoo

Hisoka revealing that his Troupe tattoo is fake

Gon is shown still sitting alone in his room and meditating when Killua returns. He asks about Hisoka's match, and Killua replies that it was boring. When Gon asks if Hisoka won, Killua honestly answers that the fight was incredible and that he has no idea how Hisoka won, telling Gon that they need to learn more about Nen. As the woman walks away from Heavens Arena, she turns back to look at the tower and says that Hisoka doesn't talk about the past since he has no interest in it, guessing that he will have forgotten Kastro's face by the next day. She adds that he doesn't associate with others and considers himself his own man since he believes himself to be the strongest. As Hisoka takes a shower in his room, a large spider tattoo with a "4" inside its abdomen is seen across his back. However, when Hisoka finishes and begins to dry himself, he says that he forgot to remove it, suddenly taking off the tattoo. He thinks about Gon and Killua as his new toys and says that it's time to hunt the Spiders, slamming the handkerchief against the mirror as the tattoo vanishes. It's revealed that Hisoka has been masquerading as a member of the Phantom Troupe and considers the group yet another target.
