Synopsis[]

Bisky slapping Killua HXH 99 EP78

Biscuit slaps Killua, pretending to argue with him

Biscuit instructs Gon and Killua to pretend like they are chatting with her and quietly warns them of an enemy that is behind her in hiding. She tells them he appears to be very experienced with a lot of blood lust while Gon tries to feign having a friendly chat with Biscuit. When asked what they believe their course of action should be, Gon and Killua suggest that they travel together to keep their enemy on his guard. Although Biscuit agrees it is a good plan, she tells them to separate from her for a bit, as the enemy will likely go after her instead of them if they all separate. She gives them a checkpoint to reach before circling back and then pretends to get into an argument with them and storms off on her own.

After Biscuit part ways with the boys, Killua admits to Gon that Biscuit is amazing, as when she slapped him during their fake argument, she moved so quickly that Killua didn't even realize it had happened until it was over. Biscuit, on the other hand, worries about the two boys since they hadn't noticed an enemy approaching them at all and is certain they would have been dead by now if not for her. Gon and Killua reach their checkpoint and start heading back, while Binolt attacks Biscuit by cutting off one of her twintails, and she feigns being weak and shrieks.

Binolt ability

Binolt uses his ability on Biscuit's hair

Using his Nen ability, Scissor Hands Binolt can learn about her true strength and quickly goes from laughing to being shocked. He puts his scissors away and removes his utility belt before respectfully requesting a martial arts fight with her instead. Binolt lunges at Biscuit, but she easily grabs his arm and throws him into the air before striking him with a kick, causing him to go flying and hit the ground. Gon and Killua come out of hiding when prompted by Biscuit. The two boys independently think to themselves how strong Biscuit is compared to her opponent, who had not been weak, and Gon immediately starts to address her more respectfully.

Gon asks Biscuit about her motives for playing Greed Island, and she admits that she wants to clear the game and claim the reward, but that she is also after a rare jewel called Blue Planet. Gon tells Biscuit about his desire to find his father, one of the creators of Greed Island, and asks Biscuit if she knows him. She says that she has heard of him but cannot provide any details on how he might find him. Gon asks Biscuit to be their teacher, and she happily agrees, but warns that she will not go easy on them.

Biscuit sits Binolt down and tells him that if he can avoid Gon and Killua's attacks for two weeks, she'll let Binolt go free, but if he fails and becomes unable to fight or leaves the small rock enclosure surrounding them, Biscuit will kill him. She also tells Gon and Killua that they are not allowed to leave the area either. Both parties agree to the terms, and the challenge begins.

Killua slashed by Binoruto HXH 99 EP78

Killua gets his face cut by Binolt

Binolt kneels down and shudders from his injuries, and Gon and Killua hesitate to attack him until Biscuit yells at them for wasting an opportunity. Killua gets behind Binolt and lunges at him to attack, but Binolt easily reacts, even while kneeling down, and slices Killua across the cheek with a pair of his scissors. Killua is shocked, realizing if Binolt hadn't been injured during that attack, Killua probably would have lost his eyes. Gon also tries to attack, but Binolt keeps him at bay with his scissors. The two boys circle Binolt but make no progress. Killua considers using his new electricity Nen on him. But decides against it because it hasn't been thoroughly tested yet.

Instead, Killua tells Gon to rest while Killua tries wearing Binolt down with rock attacks and that Gon can tag in and out every six hours with him, hoping to win a battle of endurance against Binolt. However, Binolt believes he can easily last a week without sleep while fending off the boys while his injuries heal. Gon agrees to use rocks, but instead of sitting back, he uses his new Nen ability to punch through a large boulder nearby and shatter it into smaller boulders. He picks one of them up and uses it as a shield while he flies at Binolt, who has no choice but to dodge out of the way, with his scissors being useless against the rock. Killua follows Gon's lead and picks up one of the small boulders, and the two boys work together to attack Binolt.

Biscuit is happy with their new strategy, even if they can't yet land a hit on Binolt and still have a lot of training to do; she even gets herself worked up with excitement at the idea of getting to train them to their full potential. The boys manage to trap Binolt in a field of the boulders they threw at him, with Gon able to hide and wait behind one while Killua strikes to distract him. Gon shatters the boulder he had been hiding behind, sending rocks flying at Binolt that strike him down. Killua manages to get on top of Binolt, prepared to strike the final blow, but Gon talks him out of it, insisting that they should continue practicing against Binolt for the next two weeks until they can each take him on one-on-one.

Gon agrees with Binolt that both parties should rest until the following day to recover their strength. Binolt attempts to sneak over to Gon and Killua, but the boys cannot detect him coming, and Binolt returns to his resting spot.

Binolt HXH 99 EP78 as a child

Binolt, as a child, tries to return a woman's wallet

In a nightmare of when Binolt was a child, Binolt picked up a woman's wallet that she accidentally dropped. However, when he goes to return it to her, she and her partner get incredibly angry at him, likely believing he is trying to steal from them. They end up leaving Binolt completely battered and bruised in the alleyway.

Binolt awakes with a startle, and Gon and Killua are already waiting for him. Gon and Binolt face off, and both can dodge each other's attacks; Killua's face-off against Binolt results in the same. Killua notices how much faster they've gotten already. After some time, Gon and Killua can almost strike Binolt alone, but stop short of doing so.

Binolt surrenders HXH 99 EP78

Binolt asks to be killed

Binolt admits defeat, falls to his knees, and asks to be killed. Instead, Gon thanks Binolt for fighting them and helping them improve. Binolt asks if they will let him go, and he promises to turn himself in, and Biscuit lets him go.

Biscuit calls Gon flawless in her head, but also considers how much danger the kids' potential puts them in. Gon looks out over the sunrise and remembers his father's words to him, ready to move forward.
