Frog-In-Waiting (マチボッケ, Machibokke) is a large carnivorous species of frog that hides beneath the ground to catch prey. When a potential prey walks over their hiding spot, they will rise and gobble them up in an instant.[1]

The Frog-In-Waiting has similar features to that of an average frog, as well as big beady eyes and claws for hands.[1]
Behavior[]
It moves at an extremely slow pace. With its mouth wide open, it burrows underground while blending in with the surrounding area in order to trap its prey.[1]
