Appearance[]

The agent is a relatively tall and very thin woman who has purple hair, combed to the left, most likely with hair gel. She has many piercings on her nose, lips, ears, and eyebrows. She also has multiple tattoos, rings on her fingers, metallic wristbands, and wears very little makeup, but nail polish.

Personality[]

The agent keeps a calm, professional, and informative demeanor. She takes her job seriously, as she refused to allow Kurapika to pass when he couldn't see her Hatsu.[2]

Plot[]

Heavens Arena arc[]

Hunter agent nen

The agent showing her Nen to Kurapika

Kurapika finds the agent in her building, seeking a Hunter job, but she instantly denies him. She praises him for finding the guild and can tell that he's smart, but adds that it's not enough for her to refer him to important clients. While Kurapika did pass the Hunter Exam, the agent reveals that it isn't over yet. She then asks if he can see the thing next to her, but Kurapika is left confused. She tells him to return when he can since it's the agency's minimum requirement.[2]

Yorknew City arc[]

Kurapika-12

Kurapika returning after learning Nen

Kurapika returns to the guild close to six months later and proves that he has learned Nen. The agent praises him for not only learning Nen, but also for how quickly he learned it. When she asks what sort of job he's looking for, Kurapika responds that he wants someone with strong connections to the Underground Auction in Yorknew City, adding that he doesn't care what kind of job it is. The agent informs him that clients with power usually have high criteria and doubts that they will hire someone with zero experience as a Hunter. Still, she nevertheless searches on her computer to find any results.[3]

She finds three job offers to match Kurapika's request, all of which will be hired based on an interview and include personal protection. She then describes each of the employers:

  1. A handgun buff seeking the Misette Limited Edition Bull Snake: Model S55, No. 001.
  2. An antiques collector seeking Rodo Memorial Plates from 1655 and 1657.
  3. Finally, a flesh/body-part collector seeking, among other things, a mint-condition hide with a full-body tattoo of a rising dragon and the head of a child with jelly syndrome.

After commenting on how the flesh collector has a nasty hobby, she asks Kurapika which of the three offers he wants to take.[3]

Abilities & Powers[]

As a staff member of the Sengi Guild, the agent has access to difficult-to-find information, which gives her insight into the underground world.

Nen[]

She has displayed some skills in Nen, having transmuted her aura into a skull-like face.[2]

Trivia[]

  • The character's name was never given in the manga or anime adaptations.
  • The knowledge demonstrated by the agent that Kurapika had not finished the Secret Hunter Exam yet suggests that she is a Hunter too. Alternatively, the deduction could also easily be due to her long experience working with Hunters.
