The Southernpiece Auction is the world's largest auction[1] that is held annually in 5 days from the 6th to the 10th of September in Yorknew City by Southernpiece auction house.[2] Some of the most sought after items in the world have been put on sale at this auction, which also includes the Greed Island game.[3] A catalog of the auction items alone costs 12 million Jenny.[2]

On September 6th, 1999, Phinks and Feitan of the Phantom Troupe attack a transporter car of Southernpiece Auction house that carries a copy of the game Greed Island and take it after killing all the guards.
