The Southernpiece Auction (サザンピースオークション, Sazanpīsu Ōkushon) is the world's largest auction[1] that is held annually in Yorknew City over the course of 5 days, from the 6th to the 10th of September by the Southernpiece Auction House.[2] Some of the most sought after items in the world have been put on sale at this auction, which also includes the Greed Island game.[3] A catalog of the auction items alone costs 12 million

Plot

On September 6th, 1999, Phinks and Feitan of the Phantom Troupe attack a transporter car of Southernpiece Auction House that carries a copy of the game Greed Island and steal it after killing all the guards.[4]
