Meruem's Nen type[]
Nice speculations, but we here go by what's official, his Nen type is never mentioned throughout the series, and the HxH manual has "???" as his Nen type, also just because he uses abilities with different types doesn't mean he has every category at 100%, He's not emperor time Meruem. So "all" is not acceptable.
He's most likely a specialist, but it's never confirmed anywhere, so it should stay "unknown" or even "???". MrGenial11 (talk) 21:50, May 13, 2014 (UTC)

Specialization?[]
Is Meruem a specialist or is his nen type unknown? If it is unknown, then I believe the aura synthesis is fine as it is, but if he is a specialist as listed here, then I believe aura synthesis is logically a specialist power, as it does not fit easily into any other nen type. Anyone seem to notice how as he gives his speech to a seemingly defeated Netero, Meruem makes a speech on how "human individuality cannot trump ant collectivism"? I personally think the King could belong in the Enhancement category. If I remember correctly, someone in the manga (Killua, perchance) mentioned that Chimera Ants could perform phagogenesis. Meruem used this kind of ability when he ate the soldier in East Gorteau, and when he absorbed some parts of Pouf and Youpi. Darcy Talk 09:35,8/11/2015
Difference is though is that phag(lol)ogenesis only involves the next generation as it's basically fertilizing an egg with a shit tonne of different genes instead of just a few. I mean it's not like everytime a woman gets busy in the bedroom their own genes get mixed with the guys. That's only for the next generation aka her children. Why does this character have a background section in the article? The way I understand it, a background section on Fandom refers to the details of a character’s life that happened before the character first appears in the series. This character was born during the course of the series, as depicted in episode 91, meaning that there are no details on this character that fit this wiki’s definition of background.
