Woble Hui Guo Rou (ワブル=ホイコーロ, Waburu Hoikōro) is the fourteenth and youngest Prince of the Kakin Empire, and the daughter of her father's eighth wife, Oito.[1]

Appearance Edit

Woble is an infant with short, dark hair. In later chapters, her hair has become of a lighter color.

Personality Edit

As an infant, Woble should not yet possess a defined character. She is almost always seen sleeping.

Dark Continent Expedition arc Edit

Chap 350 - Kurapika holds Woble

Kurapika holds Woble

Her mother tries to hire bodyguards on her behalf in preparation for the journey to the Dark Continent, during which the war for the succession will take place. Kurapika is selected.[2]

Chap 364 - Woble reaches out 2

Woble reaches out to Kurapika

Sometime later, Woble and her mother board the ship. For a few moments, a dark aura is released from inside Woble's cradle, startling Kurapika.[3] The following day, she is carried by her mother to another party. When five bodyguards are murdered, Kurapika tells Oito, who is holding Woble, to stand behind him as he interrogates this colleagues.[4] After learning of the egg ceremony, he hypothesizes that Woble attacked and killed Woody upon sensing his hostility.[5] Woble remains inactive through most of the following events, but cries right as Vincent arrives[6] and, shortly afterwards, leans towards Kurapika, causing her mother to give her complete trust to the bodyguard.[7]

Woble, with her Mother and Kurapika, attend a meeting with one of her older brothers Zhang Lei, to divulge information about Nen.[8]

Abilities & PowersEdit

As an infant, Woble is completely dependent on adults, and her authority is purely nominal. However, possibly as a result of the egg jar ceremony, Woble appears to be endowed with a paranormal awareness: not only she was allegedly able to sense malicious intents aimed at her,[5] her actions right after Kurapika's request for trust made the plan to subdue Vincent viable.[7] Even more remarkably, she started crying when Vincent approached her quarters, whereas not even Bill and Kurapika sensed any sort of threat until the man killed Sandra.[6]

Chap 359 - Woody

The corpse of Woble's former bodyguard, Woody

Like her siblings, Woble is a recipient of parasitic type Nen. In the pot ceremony, she received an egg from which a Nen beast has hatched to protect her.[3] The Nen beast is subject to two rule-like instincts: it is unable to fight other Sacred Guardian Beasts as well as to directly attack the host of one.[9] It feeds on Woble's aura without her awareness and acts independently of her control, and it is possibly activated by her emotions. It is believed her beast killed Woody, implying it has the power to harm an adult man.[5] It seems to be capable of draining the blood out of a person through holes all over their body, despite the target's clothes remaining intact.[4]
