Worm is red-skinned and has changed his body in such a way to resemble a worm, in correspondence with his code name. Long and thin with a pronounced potbelly, Worm takes on a look that to say the least, seems almost alien. His sinuous body structure enables underground movements a normal human would be incapable of. In fact, instead of digging with his arms he simply uses his pointed head to push into the earth and moves his neck in a circular motion to move through the ground.
Yorknew City arc
Worm (along with Leech, Porcupine and Rabid Dog) is sent to kill the Phantom Troupe members during their attack on the Mafia-run underground auction in Yorknew City. They engage Uvogin of the Troupe in battle in the Gordeau Desert. Worm immediately lands a punch on his face, but Uvogin's body is so tough that every finger on his right hand is broken from the blow. Uvogin retaliates by punching Worm in the face, knocking out some of his teeth and his right eye. Using his ability, Worm then tries to pull Uvogin into the ground, but Uvogin uses his strongest attack—Big Bang Impact—to cause an explosion that leaves a large crater and Worm blown to pieces. Ironically, Worm is the last of the four to die (after Leech, Porcupine and Rabid Dog). He is also seen advising Kurapika not to confront the Phantom Troupe.
- A 2001 character book revealed Worm to be a Transmuter
- In Nippon Animation's adaptation, he is voiced by the same voice actor as Satotz.
